This band with Francis Farewell Starlite as frontman could be the next big thing. Francis and the Lights are somewhere in-between funk and soul with a little twist. Their latest album A Modern Promise (2008) have a much more electronic sound than their first album Striking (2007). You could imagine them as a mix of Prince and Hot Chip.Francis Farewell Starlite is quite an energetic man. He dances in a unique and peculiar way. Check out this amazing video for the song "The Top" and you will understand what I’m talking about.
