A bit of a late tip, but if you're in the Australian Gold Coast area, you should head over to Elke's release party at Elsewhere tonight. The Queensland band is celebrating their first EP release; "Blue Dream Lover". The quartet make indie synth music somewhere in between Depeche Mode and Cut Copy, and they do it well. And not only is BDL a great original, it also comes with excellent remixes by the likes of Broke One and Fromage Disco.Err, come to think of it the party tip is really late since it's now about 4 o'clock on Saturday morning in Surfers Paradise when I finally post this. Sorry about that, we'll be firing our Head of Australian club guides...
