The Brooklyn duo Home Video are Collin Ruffino and David Gross, originally from New Orleans. These guys aren't any greenhorns, they've been around as Home Video since 2003 and known each other since 1997.
They released the album "The Automatic Process" back in November, and it's a nice piece of fine tracks. One of the best albums within that genre I suppose. In their sound you can hear a lot of Radiohead, a pinch of Faunts and some James Yuill. Not a bad combination of acts and on top of that they are creating things of their own, cooking it down to a real deal of great music.
Here is their latest video for a really great track "Every Love That Ever Was" from the album:
Home Video - Every Love That Ever Was
Home Video - Every Love That Ever Was (Bachelors Of Science Remix)
Home Video - Every Love That Ever Was (Montauk's Vacation Mix)
The best track from the album is the incredible "The Smoke" that there also exists two fine remixes of. You can always love In Flagranti in what they do!
Home Video - The Smoke
Home Video - The Smoke (In Flagranti Remix)
Home Video - The Smoke (Midnight Sun Remix)
And two other great tracks from the album "The Automatic Process", that you ought to buy asap, shortcut right here.
Home Video - No Relief
Home Video - The Automatic Process
Home Video - The Automatic Process (Silver Swans Remix)
When Home Video not makes music of their own, they're making remixes of bands like Faunts, Bear In Heaven, Bang Gang and Wave Machines. Here are two great remixes made by Home Video.
Wave Machines - Keep the Lights On (Home Video Remix)
Bear In Heaven - Ultimate Satisfaction (Home Video Remix)
